are classic plays and innovating versions of the
universal theatre and lyric.
Plays at Avenida Corrientes ussually are musical comedies,
tango shows and local versions of worldwide plays: Lola
Membrives, Nacional, Astral, Complejo Teatral La Plaza, Metropolitan,
Ópera.
Teatro-off or alternative is concentrated within Palermo and
San Telmo. Usually, vanguard plays are created by young people
and presented in small spaces which are remodeled as theatre
rooms, with an important public rotation, particularly young
